Leg 1 - Emma Cook, 8:34, team overall 46th
Leg 2 - John Bowsher, 7:19, team overall 34th (15:53)
Leg 3 - Ian Oliver, 5:31, team overall 20th (21:24)
Leg 4 - Dave Walters , 7:16, team overall 24th (28:40)
We came home in 24th place, just ahead of the wonderfully names "UKA 3 Chicks and a Kebab"!
Note that the winners, "Tipton Mixed" came home in a time of 21:05, which explains a little why Ian was initially surprised to be fairly substantially overtaken ... They finished a full minute and a half ahead of "BRAT Babes and Brutes".
We are not convinced that the distance involved here was exactly a mile.
Game one, close affair all round, Emma edging it from Paul T.
Game two, Paul T pulled out a good ending to beat Emma.

Having said which our one goal scored was a screamer by Paul T from before the halfway line that was the only goal scored *against* the team that won!
